Umezu Yasuomi Animation Works: UnfinishedUmezumi YasuomiA bit disappointing
A book with content I would never buy if I could read it standing up. “Wizard Barristers Benmashi Cecil Umetsu Yasuomi Design Works” and “Messo Perfect File,” which were sold in the past, were better. There are too many revised original images and storyboards that are close to black and white, and there is no reference value.

Inoue Takehiko Vagabond Illustrations: SumiTakehiko InoueAwesome Book
I have bought both WATER and Sumi and before I received them, I did not expect a lot because I know it is a collection from comics drawings during Vagabond was ongoing in the past 8 years. However, after I got the actual book in my hand, I know that it is correct to buy both books. The large size of the book with high quality printing and vibrant colors (and the outstanding drawings by Mr. Inoue) have brought life to the characters. My excitment in reading Vagabond has all returned when I flip through the pages recalling the stories. I think all Vagabond fans must buy both books as a collection item. You will not regret it. Even non Vagabond fans can also learn the drawing techniques from Mr. Inoue through these books.

Inoue Takehiko Vagabond Illustrations: WATERTakehiko InoueGenius Watercolor
Among the overwhelming majority of works that can only be seen in black and white, such as a single book, you can see everything in watercolor. I have a whole book, but by looking at the watercolor painting, each person and every one of the scenery are revived to life.

Sin After SinJudas PriestAlmost a Metal Classic
This is almost a Priest classic with tracks like Sinner, Starbreaker, Dissadent and Diamonds … but personally, I thought most of the reliant trackers were filler. Still, most people will definitely want this CD in their collection!!

Metallica (Remaster Deluxe) [SHM-CD] [Regular Edition]MetallicaA Classic Album & Great Remaster
The Black album is iconic; there isn’t anything I can tell you about it that you don’t already know. As far as the SHM-CS remaster is concerned, this IS definitely an upgrade in sound although the Black album already sounded pretty great. The demos and live tracks are cool too

Last Live [2CD] [SHM-CD] [Regular Edition]Thin LizzyGreat Live, Late Era Lizzy
Thunder & Lightning is my favorite Lizzy album, but that’s because I’m a huge fan of Mr. John Sykes’ playing and writing style. So, Life: Live has all the T&L tracks I could reasonably hope for, as well as the standard classics. Although, Heart Attack sounds been awesome … highly recommended!

Autumn VariationsEd SheeranBad very bad
Another album with obi only made in Japan and disc non made in Japan wasting money I should order eu version cheaper. I pays for piece of paper that is not worthy
-
TOKYO LIVE [Blu-spec CD]Yngwie MalmsteenDecent Live Effort
This is a decent live effort from Malmsteen. He sounds great as always, but the recording is a bit thin, I would have preferred a bit more from his earlier catalogue and Relentless Fury would have been great as performed in its entirety

HopeHarem ScaremAn Average Harem Later Release
I’m a big fan of Harem Scarem, especially their first 3 albums. However, and while much of their later output isn’t exactly “phoned in,” it’s simply nothing special beyond being standard modern AOR. No stand out tracks here, but it’s still a good effort. Worth a listen
-
British Steel [Blu-spec CD2]Judas PriestAnother Priest Classic
Breaking the Law, Grinder. Living After Midnight … it’s all here, with the classic Priest line-up. Dimebag had the Priest razor hanging around his neck, Welch tells you how influential this album is. A must have in your collection!!
-
Defenders Of The Faith [Blu-spec CD2]Judas PriestAn Almost Perfect Album
Good lord, this is almost as perfect as they come: this classic Priest lineup creates what is arguably their best album. From the opening Freewheel to Jawbreaker to Ride Hard, and my favorite Priest song ever with Some Heads Are Gonna Roll, this must have album needs to be in your metal collection if it isn’t already.
-
Firepower Deluxe Edition [Blu-spec CD2] [Limited Edition]Judas PriestEnjoyable Late Priest Effort
I will always reach for 80s Priest and Painkiller first, but Firepower is an energetic effort with blazing guitars and great hooks that will satiate most metal fans. All the guys are firing on all cylinders, and the production is crisp. The title track and Evil Never Dies are standouts.
-
Stained ClassJudas PriestA Classic Metal Album
I mean … most of these songs are legitimately great. The entire first side IS greatness, as are 3 tracks on the second side. Standouts for me are Exciter, White Heat, Better by You and the controversial Beyond. Buy this album NOW!!

TurboJudas PriestSeverely Underrated
I know it’s a hot take, but I adore Turbo from its dated, electronic sound to the somewhat of-its-time metal style. Turbo Lover and Reckless are Priest classics, and the twin guitars shine as always. A must buy NOT necessary for Priest fans, but for fans of truly dated 80s metal!

Priest...Live!Judas PriestMy Go To Live Priest Album
This is Pruest at its most raw and powerful. I love the recording and production here - completely no-nonsense. Great early track list, and the twin guitars shine with Rob’s younger, powerful voice belting out beautiful madness. An absolutely must buy for rock and metal fans.

CrossfireWHITE WIDDOWGreat Modern AOR
Been a big fan of Widdow since their second album, and this release is full of melodic rock and great guitar solos. Standout tracks Too Many Tears, Just Another Night and the cover of Thunder are legitimately great songs.

Fakin' PopKen HiraiNot Fakin' Talent
This is probably Ken's most underrated album. For me, it's one of my absolute favorites that he's ever done. It's fun, unique, energetic and playful. It dabbles in a wider variety of songs with new sounds to his discography. The first track on this album is also my initial reason for checking it out. I adore the song POP STAR. I feel like he's playfully teasing Japan's teen pop idols with this song and also in its MV. However, it also has many great songs. I never skip a single song on here. The included booklet has all lyrics and credits laid out very nicely. Plus, the pages has a fun paint splatter design of different colors and some fantastic photos of Hirai himself. Very highly recommended!!

OdysseySable HillsGREAT Japanese Metalcore
Sable Hills have definitely carried the metalcore torch these days, and prove it on Odyssey. The title track, Anthem and especially Battle Cry are especially brutal. My highest recommendation!
