Zatto, Bokura no MachiTogenashi TogeariGood
This piece of music is truly captivating, with each note weaving a tapestry of emotions that resonates deeply within. The melody flows like a gentle stream, carrying the listener on a serene journey, while the harmonies add a rich, full-bodied texture that leaves one breathless. The artist's mastery over the instrument is evident, crafting a symphony of sound that is both soothing and exhilarating. It's a masterpiece that lingers in the heart long after the last note fades, leaving a profound impression and a yearning for more

PRINCESS CONNECT! Re:Dive ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Vol.6Game MusicFantastic!
Princess Connect! Re:Dive continues to produce some of the greatest video game music of all time. The CDs also come with a booklet in which the composers give some insight into their creative process for each piece they composed. Very interesting to read through! Definitely a worthwhile purchase for any fan of this game's music.

Radiant Historia Original SoundtrackGame MusicAmazing work of composition.
This is one of my favourite OST by Yoko Shimomura. The whole collection has a strong identity that cannot be confused with anything else, and the ending song Historia is a wonderful conclusion. The battle themes are among my favourites, especially An Earnest Desire of Grey.

Dance with Devils [Limited Edition]Wonderful as the Anime
the game is much darker than the anime and I think that's great! the art style was retained and the sound had the same atmosphere. I'm glad to have seen more of shiki and lindo. and that each of them even has 4 endings!! 2 devil and 2 human endings each. so 2 good and 2 rather bad. watch out! as the game is, as I said, darker than the anime, that also means that shiki's route is even more merciless than most of the others. so not for the faint-hearted. there were quite a few pictures to collect here. the highlight for me was that the game was recorded with a dummy head microphone, similar to Diabolik Lovers. this makes the game experience all the better! the routes were varied and each character had their flirting moments. see mage xD

Chouchou Jiken Rhapsodic Regular EditionGameAn dangerous Journey
I'm pleasantly surprised that the story is so good! I haven't read the original yet, but I'm completely satisfied. I like the somewhat colder art style and the soundtrack is great! The characters have very different stories that are presented very differently in each route. It was also interesting to uncover their respective pasts. Unfortunately, a few of them really got on my nerves afterwards, as the protagonists were also pretty much screwed over. Nevertheless, the various plots had unpredictable consequences and frightening moments. I hope there will be another similar game.

[Secondhand] AMNESIA World Limited EditionPretty parallel world types
this is the first amnesia fandisk that i've played from this franchise. the artwork of amnesia gets surprisingly better from game to game! it was very funny playing mini stories and games with the different characters xD it's easier than playing through the main game. that's why it's a more relaxing gaming experience this time. there were no plot twists this time either but that was fine because it was still fun despite all that.

Second Hand Reine des Fleurs Regular EditionGameWonderful and terrible Story
this game was simply wonderful and also terribly sad at the same time! first of all, the art style is simply beautiful!! it fits perfectly with the atmosphere and the noble mood. here we have 5 playable routes of beautiful knights who support the protagonist. and each one has their own problems that we have to deal with. my favorite here would be Ghislain! he is also voiced by seiyuu Subaru Sakamaki! the game system is a bit opaque but if you look into it more closely it is actually quite easy to understand. what I liked best were the tragic plots that our protagonist uncovers.

[Secondhand] Diabolik Lovers Lost Eden Regular EditionGameI love this Series!!!
I haven't played all of the games yet, but I got into it well. I'm glad to see my favorite husband Kanato again! But I've also grown to love Raito, Subaru and even Kou more and more. But to be honest, every character here has their own charm. I really liked the story. Karl Heinz and Cordelia and co. also appeared again. Unfortunately, I only noticed that a little negatively, as it feels like it's always repeated. But I was still happy about it. There were 3 different endings per route again, but unfortunately not that many CGS. Overall, it was pretty quick and easy to play through. I hope the Diabolik Lovers series will continue to work in the future!

Persona 3 Reload Original Soundtrack [Amazon.co.jp / Ebten Limited]Much love to Takahashi and Lotus Juice!!
I really wish Atlus would make more Persona OSTs like this one, with more than one singer! All the original songs for P3R are some of my new favorites, especially Full Moon Full Life. Keep burning your dread!! :D

Hane [Regular Edition]Koshi InabaWonderful Single
Koshi Inaba should need no introduction. He's been in the music industry since the late 80s as the lead singer of B'z before he started doing some solo releases as well. He's a fantastic singer with very versatile vocals and creates excellent music. Sadly, all 4 of these songs (to my knowledge) were never included on any of his other releases, so I picked this CD up. It's a remarkable single with a good mix of different songs. Each one has its own charm and is difficult to pick just one as a personal favorite. The insert is just a couple pages with the lyrics and credits inside. It's got some colors inside to go with the green background on the cover though, which gives it some further character to its simplistic design. Highly recommended!!

Castlevania - Symphony of the NightGame MusicClassic among the classics
I think this is the only version of the OST that still has "I am the Wind" recorded as the ending song. If only for Cynthia Hawell's wonderful interpretation, this cd is amazing. Of course, Yamane Michiru's work for the game is incredible in its diversity and quality. I think Lost Painting will always be my favourite track.

PERSONA SUPER LIVE P-SOUND WISH 2022 - Kosasuru Tabiji - LIVE CDV.A.25th Anniversary Concert
The concert for the 25th anniversary of the series, and the last to have the wonderdul Kawamura Yumi on stage ... There are some really nice ideas for the production on this one, with use of CGI models on stage, and the blu-ray comes with the option to chose from several viewing angles, allowing us to focus on differents parts of the stage or to follow the flow of the initial editing. It is really practical and I hope they'll keep this option going forward.

Persona5 Official Setting Art BookShukan FamitsuGreat care taken to deliver to me
Firstly, I was very surprised this particular artbook was still available, because it was a 2016 release and it's highly coveted among fellow fans of Persona 5. However, when I saw they were doing a pre-order for another artbook that was released in May 2024 (more on that on another review), I decided I could no longer pass this up. I warn you that it's still pricy, but no more than other third-party shops are. I do think I was able to avail of this and three others via an ongoing promotion (possibly a birthday thing because my birthday was in March and I ordered this in April). That said, it's also a whopping 512 pages of full colour, and even if I don't read Japanese as well as I used to I can still appreciate it as a treasure trove for videogame design and production work. Now, I have to give major kudos to CDJapan. They figured out I would rather get this and my other artbooks in one delivery box, so even if the original order form said these would ship at an earlier date from the pre-order book's availability, they chose to pack them all in very carefully together in one box since it seemed the pre-order release came out a week early. And when I say carefully, each artbook was enclosed in bubble wrap, which was a godsend since only the pre-order book had its own separate wrapping; it was also slightly hilarious because the pre-order book also had a second layer of bubble wrap! So all the books came clean and pristine, with no damage whatsoever. I'm also glad that they came a week earlier than expected. I was always a bit wary of third-party stores selling merchandise from Japan, but this experience has proven completely worth it. I'm hoping some of the other artbooks I'm looking for are available again so that I can keep ordering from them!
