"Godzilla Minus One (Godzilla-1.0)" (Movie) Original SoundtrackOriginal Soundtrack (Music by Naoki Sato)Magnificent
It is very rare that a soundtrack album can stand alone as it's very own masterpiece, "Godzilla Minus One" is just one of those rarities. A thumping score that can tell the story of "Godzilla" without the need for visuals, a sonic treat writ large by the very talented Naoki Sato. Magnificent.

Toboso Yana Art Book: Black Butler 1Yana TobosoPretty and elegant
I like art books but would only recommend buying them if you have a great love for the artstyle. I think out of all the Black Butler art books this is probably my least favorite, but the book in of itself is beautiful. The cover has a nice hidden illustration and the paper is thick and pretty. Definitely a must-have.

Toboso Yana Art Book: Black Butler 2Yana TobosoFor anime watchers
If you're a manga only fan, then some characters here may be lost on you. Otherwise, all the illustrations are lovely and the book itself is made elegantly! I definitely love this!

Toboso Yana Art Book: Black Butler 3Yana TobosoElegant!
This is by far my favorite Black Butler art book. You can really see how far Yana's artstyle has come so far, and the new characters are all a nice addition!

The Dark Side of the Moon (2023 Remaster)Pink FloydAstonishing! Buy It While You Still Can.
I have purchased every single so-called “Remastered Version” of this essential Pink Floyd CD since it first appeared on CD in 1983. I have yet to be satisfied — until now, with my CDJapan purchase of “The Dark Side of the Moon 50th Anniversary Edition”. This version has zero surface noise or tape hiss. None! Listeners will remember the slowly-louder heartbeat and the seemingly disembodied voices saying things like, “I’ve always been mad. I know I’ve been mad, like most of us have.” That entire introduction and the rest of the album was ruined by tape hiss in every prior edition until now! The mixes themselves on songs such as “Great Gig in the Sky“ have been muddy and compressed. Not here, though! Every song is clean and clear as if layers of “sonic varnish” had been scraped off of each song. As a parallel, I remember purchasing the Blu-ray disc of the classic Alfred Hitchcock movie “Psycho“. “Psycho“ is a movie I had seen on video dozens of times previously. However, seeing it on Blu-ray was a revelation. I pictured myself in a movie theater in 1960 watching a brand-new print of the movie for the very first time. That same sort of astonishing clarity is what this “Dark Side of the Moon 50th Anniversary Edition” from CDJapan sounds like. Put it in your CDJapan collection now, regardless of what other versions of this album you might already own. YES, it’s *that* much better! I saw Pink Floyd live many times; every American tour from 1977–94. I even saw them perform this whole “Dark Side of the Moon” album live from start to finish. The only annoyance was the crowd noise. This new 50th anniversary version from CDJapan was like having the band in my living room performing “The Dark Side of the Moon” album again just for me! One more thing. This 50th Anniversary Edition is not mastered in the SHM or Blu-Spec CD2 format. So you need not worry about which edition to choose. It is simply mastered as beautifully as the Japanese alone do it: by a slower, more accurate and careful process that is matched by no one on earth! The Japanese did not invent rock ‘n’ roll, obviously. They have, however, invented a tremendous reverence for it in the way records are mastered there.

Decision [Regular Edition / Type-B]BLACKNAZARENEFantastic Idol Group - Wonderful album
A really wonderful album from start to finish with great songs and beautiful singing. BLACKNAZARENE are a superb IDOL group and they tick all the boxes for me: Great songs, a sharp aesthetic, great dancing and talented & pretty members. If you do not know them please watch some of their videos and see for yourself. There is something very stylish about everything they do. The album is a masterclass in catchiness and skillful songwriting, the voices of all the members are never less than perfect and the songs are all top quality. It hard to pick favourites but I really like the song 'Lord of the Fate' and it also has an excellent video. My favourite song is 'Decision' (which also has a great video) and it is one of the best songs you are ever likely to hear, it is so special, perfectly written and performed and really catchy. Every song is amazing though and the album is well worth it for anyone who likes IDOL groups.
