Another great Rush album! 5

very powerful synthesizer/keyboard album.....sounds brilliant on SHM-CD. I remember Subdivisions and New World Man constantly playing on the radio back then , Rush always had a few radio friendly hits on every album....seems they could write a hit song whenever they needed to , but even the hit songs are totally creative and original pieces....such a talented band. Signals totally rocks from beginning to end , it gets my highest recommendation.....if you're a rock music lover there's no reason not to get this album!

RUSH / Shm-CDs , do not disappoint!!! 5

Wait until you hear the song , COUNTDOWN!!!??? As with all of these RUSH / SHM-CDs , they have a picture [in full colour] of their album covers and / or part of the album covers on the Shm-CD , itself. In this case they have the FIRE HYDRANT picture on this Shm-CD. The picture covers the whole CD and it also shows the albums songs too. These are not just the boring , plain , silver CDs from the 1997 re-masters. So , these new RUSH Shm-CDs , look stunning as well as sounding excellent. If you loved 1 and / or 2 of their RETROSPECTIVE Shm-CDs. If you have ever heard the 2008 MOFI version of the , P. WAVES album and wanted more RUSH CDs that sounded just like that , here they are. The SIGNALS / SHM-CD , sounds and looks much better than the 1997 re-master. There is a little more volume [but not too much]. They keyboards , bass , vocals , and drums are clean and clear as a bell with 0 harshness. The keyboards star on this album. They are perfectly clear and they are in balance with every thing else. Songs like , SUBDIVISIONS , COUNTDOWN , THE ANALOG KID and LOSING IT , sound as if they were mastered using today's technology. Not only do these RUSH SHM-CDs look better than the 1997 re-masters , they sound better too. It is like having all of your RUSH CDs re-mastered by MOFI , only these SHM-CDs are better.
