I love this album. On two discs, it comes with a wonderful selection of songs including the full 20-something minute version of Art of Life, a masterpiece reminiscent of Pink Floyd's Echoes. It also comes with a lyric booklet, which unfortunately has no pictures. What I love about this album is how the songs flow together - it seems like whoever put this together spent time deciding what songs should go where instead of just throwing them wherever. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get into X JAPAN's music or just loves a good compilation album.

In my opinion, XJAPAN is a grate visual band. And this recopilation shows the best songs XJAPAN made. We miss this band. We miss...Hide. Afortunatelly we have their works ^^

This is a great choice for either a first time X sampler or a long time fan.... With their greatest songs on the line up, there's no way one could be disappointed.... Art of Life alone makes the whole purchase worth it.... X (or X Japan) has the ability to rock you to the core with amazing hard rock and in tehe very next track throw out a beautiful ballad.... This compilation represents their work as well as it can be....

This is a great collection of X Japan's great songs! Who can forget the kei rock founders? their music has been influential to modern Japanese music. Here how it all began. These beautiful songs definately have a classical sound, with orchastras, and piano, added to stunning guitar and drums, these are unforgetable songs! From some hard rock songs like "Scars" to the sweetest love song, "Forever Love." this is a great album that everyone should have! It brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it.
