Miyavi
Miyavi is one hell of an entertainer and it should not be kept a secret that he is true flirtation throughout the entire show. His vocals definitely improved with time and the only disappointing thing about the DVD (and show in general) is that he doesn't take more time to develop awesome riffs and solos as he used to do it with DLQ or when he first appeared on the VK scene. Anyway, Miyavi's kabuki style is definitely here to stay for a while, but if I know our beloved Mevster right it won't take long for him to get tired of it and his need for developing, exploring and growing will take over again and lead him towards new paths. This is definitely a must-have for all fans out there (also the ones looking for some smexiness during performance).
i really loved this concert. it was great that he performed some of his indies songs. i hope he does that more often.
Miyavi never ceases to amaze me. This was a very colorful live, and Miyavi was better than ever. Another definite must have for Miyavi fans. =D
alright! If you DO NOT have this DVD yet...THIS is a MUST! Excellent perfomances very different from the Official Bootleg. I have both and enjoyed both but this is a win. Jibun Kakumei-2007 and Girls be Ambitious are nostalgic yet refreshing. Video and Audio quality~ simply EXCELLENT! Great collection for all Miyavi addicts.
Compared to the Official Bootleg DVD, this DVD contains part of the same tracklist. However, it's completely different from that one. Here you can see Miyavi during his 2007 christmas performance, playing both new songs and older songs. While Nowheregod is only on the Official Bootleg, this concert has Coinlockers Baby, Jibun Kakumei -2007-, and some other tracks that aren't on the Official Bootleg. ^^ It's a bit shorter in length, though. The Kavki Boiz are with him again, including a human beatbox, DJ, tapdancer, bassplayer and drummer. Miyavi is the only one playing guitar. They wear different outfits compared to the Official Bootleg. The gig has much better lighting (comparable to the first DVD Gekokujo), and MYV uses his "winged" microphone stand again. When it comes to atmosphere, this one wins over the other. Performance and quality of both are great.
Oh my god! I absolutely love this DVD I have never sat on the floor to watch tv since I was a kid now at 17 I just HAD to for this DVD it is AMAZING I defiantly recommend it to any Miyavi fan! it is far worth the money! 5 star!
