i originally got a cassette copy of disc 1 way back in 1978, and along with her presence in grease, it was enough to turn me into a follower. disc 2 was released in 1982 during olivia's peak physical era. having both discs released in one package was quite a surprise as a quick cross check with amazon usa indicates that this are two separate releases stateside. the packaging and the extras are impeccable. i've always wanted to have a cd copy of disc 1 (i was lucky enough to find a standalone disc 2 release 25 years ago) and this set completes it. my only gripe is they could have included twist of fate. that would have made this collection more extraordinary.

I noticed that the jewel cases of Japanese CD's are slightly thicker than those used on North American releases. In my opinion, that is a good sign that potentially indicates better quality (since the manufacturer did not skimp on materials). But Japanese-made CD's in general have a reputation for good quality. Regarding this specific release, it includes a booklet with a message from Olivia dated July 2022, which has some pictures, song lyrics, credits, and a relatively long introduction written by a journalist dated March 2022. I personally enjoyed reading the contents of the booklet. There is also a poster addressed to Olivia's Japanese fans with her facsimile signature. The sound quality is great and I enjoyed listening to the songs included on this release. You will not regret this purchase if you are a fan of Olivia Newton John.

There is some hard core fan from Germany saying this Deluxe edition is not good. Wrong. It is an amazingly well curated and crafted compilation of many of her hits from (mostly) the seventies and early eighties. Sound and packaging are perfect and the booklet info one of the best in years. This collection is definitely a must have of one of the best pop/country singers ever.

Great collection of her music. Sound quality is excellent. No noticeable sound compression. Pure copy of a master tapes.

A wonderful remastered double album of Livvy’sgreatest hits during her prime from the seventies to eighties in super high material cd with a poster and booklets in both English and Japanese containing lyrics and a dedication for Livvy’s Japanese fans dated a month before her passing. If you could only buy one album from Livvy, this is the one! A fantastic album bringing back nostalgia from Livvy’s heyday and a must buy for all who love music from one of the greatest singers the world has ever known. I miss you already Livvy!

Well, what should I say? This seems to have been a very ambitionate project, a special special reissue from Japan , other than the rest of the worldwide market on 2 instead of 1 CD, all those numerous hits and great tracks from ONJ. And a special 2022 remaster on top. And in the end it is the SAME OLD DESASTER as always with ONJ compilations: something is missing. This time it is the great song "Summer Nights" from the Grease soundtrack. A hit, no question. So for me: no buy, once again! Sad, very sad.
