Sad goodbyes 5

A fitting but sad goodbye for a while (i hope, a short while) for an amazing artist, musician and humanist ? :) Anyway, looking forward to her comeback whenever (if) that may be.

A Nostalgic Compilation 5

Ahh the memories from Ultra Blue and Heart Station with the combination of 5 new tracks. ^_^ Who could wish for more? I love the new pieces. Each song has something innovative and unique about it and I commend Hikki for leaving us with these gifts before she goes on hiatus. And nonetheless, the Wild Life concert as well is also another gift! I wish you the best on your hiatus Hikki and Thank You CdJapan for your services on getting this album to me!

Goodbye Happiness 5

Great compilation with all the gems she's released since Deep River: Flavor of live, Passion, Prisoner of love, Beautiful World to name a few. The new songs are worth the purchase with a special mention for Show me love with its atmospheric intro and then a stunning rock tune. She'll leave an empty space but will remain strong in her fans' hearts...

Hikki has 'Shown Me Love, Not A Dream'. 5

Am I dreaming? Is the goddess of Japanese pop really saying goodbye for a little while? Yes, she is. But she has left us with a collection of some of the most thought-provokingly complex yet beautifully simple "pop" music that you will probably ever get to hear. This is a MUST-HAVE for any Utada Hikaru fan, new and old. It contains all 12 singles (plus an accoustic remake) from her previous albums ULTRA BLUE and HEART STATION, which are -in my humble opinion- her two best albums to date. Even more exciting is that it comes packed with 5 brand new tracks! They are all great and distinctly Hikki, but with a bit of a new twist. I really like Show Me Love (Not A Dream) and Goodbye Happiness. So if you have been a fan of Hikki since her debut over a decade ago, or if you are just finding out about her and want to experience her amazing music, I HIGHLY recommend you buy this album. You will not be disappointed. And I want to thank Hikki for making such unique music that will undoubtebly stay in our hearts and minds for years to come. She is truly and forever will be a Japanese musical treasure and legend ;)
