A fantastic compilation of Meiko Kaji's greatest hits. The only other songs that I think would've also been good to add to it are "Imasara Nante Shikarinaide Kudasai", "Kakioki", "Shitto" and "Hotaru No Hashi". This is a great introduction to Meiko Kaji and I highly recommend it to both fans of her work and those who've only heard "Shura No Hana" and "Urami Bushi" from the "Kill Bill" films. In terms of delivery, it was wonderful. Secure packaging, lovely mint green gift wrapping, fast shipping and the CD was in mint condition as advertised with its obi strip attached. I look forward to ordering again from your company. Thank you very much CDJapan for delivering the product so safely and quickly and a big thank you to Meiko Kaji for producing such beautiful Music.

Excellent service. Cd in very good state (Of course it's a new one). Delay to send the order very good. In one word => EXCELLENT
A fabulous voice and cd reminds my of my holidays walking along the beach and this beautiful music is being carried by the wind and you have to stop to listen to it i love it thank-you Meiko Kaji X
Fantastic voice! Great music!I just had to have this album immediatley, this has to be one of my favourites. I love you,Meiko!
This album is superb from start to finish, Meiko has a voice that propells you to a different world, so sensual and warm, I too first heard her voice in Kill Bill, so taken back by the song Shura no Hana (The Flower Of Carnage), I just had to have this album immediatley, I'm a fan of all genres of music but this has to be one of my favourites from my world music collection, 5/5 stars Meiko
I fell in love with her voice on the 'KILL BILL'soundtrack. Now I've seen her movies as well I think she's great!I listen to this quite a lot, usually on quiet Sunday mornings to relax.None of the tracks are bad, this style of music could be from any era,a bit like 'ENYA'and dosen't sound'Dated'.A good buy.
I bought this just from hearing the track from kill bill which says a lot right from the get go. I don't think it's all that special in terms of music from that era but it does what it does very well. I really like her for her though. I mean like her character is very interesting to me the way she sings it draws me in. Beware though, lyrics are pretty depressing... still buy it ;P
It was Quentin Tarantino who introduce me to her music while watching the snow fighting scene in his movie "Kill Bill". Since then, I've been a fan of Japan Pop music and even more....
This "Best of" is a real one : a great selection of Goddess Meiko's best songs... most of them are works used in movies she played in. A must have !
