A Music Album which integrates Mythologicals , from a mythological group of music. I recommand the item to all the fans of the Pink Floyd.

When I was a young kiddie - boo-boo I bought what I was told to be one of FLOYD's stronger albums. From the first moments this album hit my turntable to the CD digital re-mastered version I frequently spin, "Atom Heart Mother" is a masterpiece. FLOYD blend blues with psychedelic rock with orchestration delivering one of their most artistic pieces of work todate. "Atom.." is a real sonic exploration with loads of great organ, guitar, bass and drum workmanship. Epic track "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" is a real stunner with loads of talking and background breakfast nook sounds. I think the song is actually put to the process of preparing ones breakfast. Personal favs would be "IF" and title track "Atom Heart Mother" which explores the heavy combination of rock and full orchestra.

This is a must for any enthusiast of Pink Floyd or Japanese releases of progressive rock albums! The entire package feels heavy and special in my hands, and the contents are marvellous to behold. All the replicas of paraphernalia related to the Hakone Aphrodite event are worth it on their own, but you also get a luxurious photo book and Blu-ray Disc, which allow you to look back on that legendary concert, now immortalised. All in all, the best release of this album yet, and a true collectable.

Always liked this album and now it has been taken to the next level. The packaging has to be seen to believed, quite the knockout. Awesome. Sonically, nigh on perfect. I have older pressings (CD and Vinyl) that have sounded a bit toppy which can be a bit wearing on the ear whereas this pressing has a presence that is just so right. A must for Floyd fans.

this japan only 50th ann set of atom mother heart is really aimed at pink floyd die hards who collect pink floyd as this box set focuses more on replications from the first pink floyd visit to japan in 1971 50 years ago!!, first off the disc sounds fantastic!!!! the dvd was shot in 16mm film so its ok but not the whole show at all. you get a beautiful book with this with many unseen photos from this show/tour as well as replications of the japan tour programme, tour poster and some other goodies all to mark the 50th ann of pink floyds first visit to japan more then give us more music, for example they could have given us 2 more remastered discs of the audio of the full osaka 1971 show, if they had done that, THIS WOULD BE 5 STARS. this is good for pink floyd die hards & collectors not casual fans...
