this is seriously the best powder foundation brush ever, its so freaking soft its unbelivable, and the brush shape is just perfect. its dense but not so much you feel like your exfoliating your skin. its like the perfect hybrid of a classic round kabuki brush cross with a short flat top kabuki brush. Considering this is natural hair it buffs powder in the skin perfectly, i noticed my powder foundation would last longer on my skin because of useing this brush. This brush has never shedded on me too which is shocking because every single natural hair face brush i have ever had has shedded on me. the only downside of this brush is that it takes forever to dry. But considering how well it performs it honestly does not matter to me, its worth every penny.

The bristles are soft. This dense brush is good for buffing powders but I don't use this often. It's mainly for petting and brushing my face without any product on. Love, love, love!
I just received my 7th shipment from CD Japan, mostly from purchases of Koyudo brushes. Although not as soft as the white kinoko, this is by far my favorite because it is so cute and yet very functional. Not only that, it is so dense so the overall feel is firm, perfect for buffering and finishing. I have the pink and will definitely buy the purple and orange even though I don't need another one. This macaroon is just so adorable!
I saw this brush and I knew I had to have it! I love this dense little sweetie! It is SOOOOO soft... and perfectly crafted. It is the perfect size to blend blush in gentle, circular motions. I also love to massage my eyes. It is such a cute little bon-bon that I believe I must purchase in all colors! CDJAPAN ROCKS!!!
Not only are these some of the cutest brushes I've come across, but they serve many purposes since they are so soft and sense at the same time. I use these for more sheer or lighter blushers or even to blend out any blush/contour edges. It also works great to buff in powder.
I have ordered White mushroom, H008 and pink Macaroon at the same time, they all are beautiful, high quality, soft brushes, but this little pink baby just melts my heart. It's incredibly soft, very dense, it's tiny, but a comfortable size to use. It was washed, did not shed, but left some pink dye on the towel when squeezed, used once (worked perfectly with powder application, did not irritate my sensitive skin at all), washed again, dried very quickly and now it's just sitting on my desk, and every time I look at it I smile. I will probably buy other colors as well...way too cute... Ordered May 8, Shipped to California by CD Japan May 16 by SAL Delivered June 3rd. I had another order shipped a day later by airmail and delivered in 3 days, will not use SAL again, but overall very happy that I got it quickly (for the shipping method used) and safe. Still waiting for another SAL package shipped on the same day, hope it did not get lost.
Excellent powder brush. Im currently using it with my MAC MSF Natural to set my foundation! Also used it with loose powder, perfect result as well. Blends beautifully and difuse my blush if I apply too much. Sits very comfortably in my hand. Does not feel like a flimsy brush. And yes verrrrrry soft indeed and yet densed enough to buff in the powder and 'push' it into your skin to minimize pores. It did shed 1 or 2 hairs after I washed it the first time but nothing ever since. Wish it comes in more colors so I can collect them all.
This brush is the SOFTEST brush I have EVER felt~!! It's VERY dense, so it makes for a PERFECT buffing brush. I use it to apply my powder foundation, both loose and pressed, and it applies it like a dream. I'm not sure if there's a difference between colors (I ordered the pink one), but the one that I have is SO well built. Most of the time a brush will shed a couple of hairs during it's first washing, but not this brush. Seriously, not even ONE hair came out~!! I am SO pleased with this purchase and I'm sure you will be, too. P.S. You should splurge and pay for the more expensive shipping... SAL takes a VERY long time.
