I already had the live since I have the 9.9 cd set, but I wanted the studio version as well. I know of people that got turned on to Gackt's music thanks to this song. Both songs are great, although I didn't need to buy the one with the dvd seeing as how I have the red and blue filmographies.

Gackt does not disappoint. The instrumental versions of the songs are really great. I love the songs.The CD case itself is really interesting!

I don't like gackt as well but it was a present for my friend, and she likes it so much xD I dunno, gackt never was so good

In spite of these songs being soundtracks for a computer game (Dirge of Ceberus, which I don't even play), I purchased this cd because it's Gackt and I wasn't the least bit sorry. This CD does in only 4 songs (two of which are instrumental) what some bands can't even do with a full CD's worth of material, and that's saying something. Gackt's vocals are just blistering here, and showcases his incredible range. However, the real treat here is his guitarist, Chachamaru, who just smokes! On 'Longing', Chacha goes full-on ballistic, delivering scorching licks that any metal guitarist would envy (and I hear he's got a solo album). I especially love the instrumental versions of 'Redemption' and 'Longing' where I get to really hear Chacha's talent. Not to mention that Chacha is another extremely sexy bishonen male...an added bonus. This CD is also getting heavy rotation on the old MP3 and is a great way to start even the dreariest of days. It's powerful, heady stuff from Gackt.

Gackt's two latest songs-I love them both! Both have heavy guitar and Gackt uses lots of special effects for Longing. Also includes the instrumental versions~~ A great buy, though you might want to consider buying the issue with the DVD, which comes with some other cool stuff.

I liked this CD. The main song was my favorite, and the second song was okay. I'm no music freak; I just liked the songs.

Ah~ Gackt! He's done it again! I have yet to be disappointed with any of his music. Redemption is one of his best.

This single is just incredible! "Redemption" is just phenominal and "Longing" is a great b-side track. "Redemption" just shows how Gackt is becoming more and more great with his unique style of storytelling. This song is so overwhelming and beatiful...the perfect companion for PS2's Dirge of Cerberus. This single is a masterpiece and the video for "Redemption" should not be missed.
