U.S. Shipping Policy Update

Following the suspension of the de minimis exemption (which previously allowed tax-free imports under USD 800), shipments to the United States will now be subject to duties and clearance fees as outlined below:

In general, a 15% import duty will be applied to the product price, along with a customs clearance fee charged by the shipping carrier. The customs clearance fee varies by shipping carrier, but is expected to be around $8–$12.

* Apparel, household goods, stationery, and other items have varying duty rates.

* For products already subject to customs duties, this 15% will be added on top of the existing rate.
For example, apparel items currently subject to a 16% duty will have a total duty of 31% (16% + 15%).

(*1) Starting September 12, 2025, the 25% duty and clearance fees for FedEx FICP shipments will be included in the checkout charge. This will also apply to orders placed before this announcement once they enter the shipping process.

(*2) Although we currently cannot ship out shipments by Japan Post (EMS, Registered Airmail, or Airmail), we can continue to accept orders by these shipping methods. Once the suspension is lifted, we will ship out your order.

FedEx FICP

Note that even if you refuse to accept the order, customs duties will still apply.

[Orders shipped after September 12, 2025] Duties and clearance fees will be prepaid at the time of purchase.

A 25% charge (including both duty and clearance fee) will be added to the total product price at checkout.
