Frankie Goes to Hollywood, formed in Liverpool in 1980, delivers a groundbreaking debut album. Even before their official record debut, the band generates sensational attention and signs with Trevor Horn's ZTT label. In the UK, the album surpasses one million pre-orders despite being a double-album release and reaches No. 1 on the national chart. It becomes a global phenomenon, entering Top 10 charts across many countries and achieving strong sales. Featured tracks include the debut single "Relax," which reaches No. 1 in the UK despite receiving a broadcast ban from the BBC, along with the chart-topping "Two Tribes" and the No. 3 hit "The Power of Love (Ai no Kyuseishu)."

This 2-disc set consists of Disc 1, containing the original album, and Disc 2, which features highlights from the 7CD+Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition released in 2025, including demos, radio sessions, a soundcheck of their cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run," 12-inch versions, alternate mixes, and more. The release includes liner notes, a Japanese translation of the original English liner notes, and lyrics with Japanese translations.
