For a limited period of time until July 23, Miku Cafe is open at Tokyo City View, the observation deck 250m (820ft) above Tokyo located at Roppongi Hills. As a part of the celebration of 10th anniversary of opening of this mega-complex incorporating art, entertainment, and urban life, Miku Cafe has attracted over 10,000 people so far. Full scale figures of Hatsune Miku are on display along with various artwork, and drinks and food that are themed after her are served.

Since Hatsune Miku came into being as a vocaloid (singing voice synthesizer) in 2007, thousands and thousands of songs have been composed by professionals and amateurs alike, inspiring thousands of thousands of artworks and videos worldwide.
