When this brush is used for applying liquid foundation, due to its very big head, it applies super fast and is especially useful for everyday uses. However, if you want a more perfect finish with no pores for a date, you can use the fupa series. It takes a slightly longer time, but the finish is really beautiful. This brush is less dense than the fupa series, so it has blending ability and makes your foundation spread out thinner than when you use fupa brushes. When this brush is used for applying powder, it functions more like a loose powder brush than a powder foundation brush. Because the brush head is not very dense (it is certainly not floopy, it is somewhere in between), I use it for loose powder. Compared to very airy loose powder brushes, its density applies more powder onto your face.
BP013 Foundation Brush / Koyudo BP High Class Series Customer Reviews
Makeup Brush
Washed the brush a few times. The brush still shed like crazy every time I use it. The brush’s softness is okay. I feel a little poking using it. I tried to be more gentle more then I wouldn’t be able to blend my cc cream. good.
So far one of my favorites. This brush is huge but oddly enough great for powder bronzer. Looking at it you would never think you can bronze with it. It gives precise placement for bronzing and diffuses the edges because how big and soft it is do not need to use anything else It is said to be used with foundation, I haven't tried it with any creams or liquids, I feel like it would ruin this beautiful brush. this brush is a staple in my brush kit. I think I want to order another one.
The brush is good for thick compact powder foundation, but it always sheds one or two bristles whenever I use it. I don't know if there is some particular problem with my brush or the shedding is general with all the BP 013.
Tom Ford dupe but way better. So so soft like a big marshmallow. Make my bronzer looks so natural. Love it! Don't hesitate.
This is such a great brush just to look at but it also works great too! The bristles are firmer but still soft. I also use it for bronzer or powder. It is similar to the Tom Ford Bronzer brush. Very cute and chubby. I want to buy the blush brush next b016!
This brush is HUGE. Great for lazy days. You can easily cover your entire face without effort. I do find that I need to use a smaller foundation brush for my nose area but it's no big deal. Really cuts down on my time on busy mornings. I love reaching for this! Please note that its best for creamy products vs liquid products.
This baby is my go to brush in busy morning. It is so good for every thing, liquid, cream , mineral foundation and pressed powder foundation, even brownzer. Great pleasure to use, perfect combination of Softness, resistance, length and density, must have! In love always with it.
Wow! Incredible softness but still picks up and blends well. As in the title, a beautiful brush, beast-sized! I personally have not used this brush for liquid or cream foundation yet, but the BP 13 is amazing for diffuse bronzer application, comparable to the Tom Ford Bronzer brush. I also love it for a sheer dusting of finishing powder all over. This brush was my first Koyudo brush purchase. I am now hooked, and have ordered several more from the BP series and have some of the Fu Pa series bookmarked for later purchase.
This is an unusual brush - it's very large compared to conventional foundation brushes, so it may take some time to get used to it. I find that this brush has a perfect balance of softness and firmness, and the quality of the goat hair Koyudo uses is exceptional. I haven't used this brush with liquid foundation, but for powder foundation it is absolutely great.
Yes, it's a great blender for foundation, but it's size and density make it perfect with my cream bronzer as well.
I love Koyudo brushes. This foundation brush is made of goat, easy to handle. The brush is good to use with liquid foundation, doesn't leave streaks.
