I think this is one of the most curious songs from GACKT. The lyrics are funny and contains that kind of language that GACKT use to hate. Also, he is in the cover, wearing a woman's dress, that is so funny. I think GACKT is happier than ever, and as his fan, it makes me happy too. I'm buying this CD and I hope I can get the FLOWER and FARAWAY singles.
Koakuma Heaven Customer Reviews
GACKT
This is my favourite song of Gackt from the last year. Is a very good song. This song is great!!!!The b-side is very good too.
The A-side "Koakuma Heaven" is not really Gackt's greatest song ever... It has slightly repetitive beats and an extremely annoying vocoder effect. It's definitely a song out of Gackt's "norm". Needless to say, this is not a great start for his single campaign... The B-side "My Father's Day" on the other hand is, well, I don't know really how to describe it... It seems like just a generic rock song, but I just can't stop listening to it. I definitely recommend it. I gave this review a 4 just because of that song.
I absolutely love Koakuma Heaven (and My Father's Day as well)! Both songs have happy, fun tunes that I haven't heard from Gackt for a long time! And that cover.. I've wasted at least half an hour to realize which of the girls is Gackt! It was quite entertaining.. There are too many words to describe the whole thing. But I'll be short and repeat myself one more time: I love it!
Koakuma Heaven is a fun (albeit risque) single coupled with a heartfelt melody dedicated to the late Ogata Ken. The A-side, "Koakuma Heaven", is a song that is bursting at the seams with synthesized vocals. Said synth effects may (or may not) hinder the overall feeling of the song as I'm sure everyone is used to Gackt's velvety voice. However, this song is to be taken with a grain of salt and enjoyed for what it is: a fun, slightly raunchy, dance song. The B-side, "Father's Day", however, takes a more serious tone in terms of lyrics, yet, similar to "Koakuma Heaven", the tune is still upbeat. A mix of English and Japanese, "Father's Day" is akin to the likes of "Black Stone"; delivering messages of perseverance. Overall, "Father's Day" is another strong addition to the many hopeful songs in Gackt's collection. NOTE: First press includes a small card with a wallet-sized image of Gackt on the front and a small calendar on the back.
Do you know inside the cover, Gackt is one of them? Whatever you guys said that he is not interesting since Jesus.. I still do feel that he's awesome... He admit it himself in one of the interviews that he's being a childish before and now he's grown up and he need to be more creative and after quit smoking.... he has become more creative and creative...
Gackt gives us a sense of his funny side with this single. The lyrics, themselves, are from a woman's point of view and if you're a little confuse about the cover, perhaps you should read the lyrics. xD
i have listened the preview.. yes, is diferent. but is so amazing, love this song. gackt u r the best, i am hoping to buy all the 4 cd
Koakuma Heaven sounds like a great song! You should go to Gackt's JAPANESE website and watch the preview videos for Koakuma Heaven, Faraway, and Lost Angels!
Gackt changed for the better, he has the right to be creative and change his style like any artist. If people don't like it, their loss. In my opinion, all his songs are truely amazing because of his voice and how much emotion and soul he pours into it. You have to really understand the r&r story to appreciate it. And lastly, if someone doesn't like his songs anymore, I hope you haven't lost respect for him.
Gackt's quality has been slowly diminishing since Jesus came out, and these new singles really aren't giving me much hope for another Mars. I'd love to see him be creative and interesting again.
Og God!!!!! His "four" new singlesa are going to be out, or his whole new album! Oh, why now?? all? Songs?? I don't have more money to spend on whole them!!! I see I am buying album.. :(
