Money Orders We Can Not Accept

Here are examples of money orders different from IPMO that we can not accept. If we receive them, we have no choice but to return them to the sender. IPMO is available at post offices in these countries.

Domestic Postal Money Order

This image is that of the Canadian domestic Postal Money Order. We have no means to cash this type of Money Order valid only in the country of its origin.

International Money Order Issued by Financial Institution

Many financial institutions issue International Money Orders, but we are unable to accept them due to the high costs in financial charges required for cashing them. Normally, the financial cost is somewhere in the range of 4,000 yen.

Western Union

Western Union International Money Orders are available from Western Union Agents. However, we are unable to accept them, due to the high costs in financial charges required for cashing them. Normally, the financial cost is somewhere in the range of 4,000 yen.
