The AF series of makeup brushes that feel like the hair of a squirrel. After receiving numerous requests from people who can't use makeup brushes that use natural hairs, CHIKUHODO began investigating new makeup brushes and have now finally created one. This series was made through blending plant-based synthetic fibres with Ag-TAfrE. Through CHIKUHODO's unique manufacturing method, they have made a makeup brush that is very soft on your skin and has a moderate amount of spring. They have also remedied artificial hair's inferior ability to hold powder. Ag-TAfrE: A new material that uses plant (corn) based ingredients and is gentler on the environment than regular synthetic fibres. In order to be more like natural hairs the fibres feature cuticles and crimping (wavelike). The special characteristics of this material is how it feels as soft as squirrel hair on your skin and how well it holds powder thanks to the reproduced cuticles. Furthermore, by embedding Ag (silver) into the fibres they have also made it highly antibacterial.
