Fu-pa 14 is Must Brush for Makeup Brush Lover

This brush is very dense and soft and its great for mineral foundation and powder foundation. It is small and handy and so great for travelling.

I love the hair of this brush, its soft and gentle but has enough firmness to apply a lot of powder if need be. This is great to stipple/pat on powders then blend out, and the brush head covers a lot of areas in a short amount of time. The short thick handle feels very natural in my hand and allows me to go up close to the mirror without poking it. Would recommend this for anyone interested in a good high quality natural hair brush.

This is a very dense kabuki-type style brush. Like other reviewers have mentioned, you can't even tell there is goat hair in here - it feels insanely soft. This brush is great for lightly pigmented blushers when you just want a quick wash of color. I've used this with heavily pigmented blushers too - it just takes more care and time. The handle is short but comfortable to hold. It washes well but it does take 2 days to dry completely due to its density. I'm sure this brush would be fabulous for powder foundation or loose powders as well. Highly recommend!

This brush is soft like a dream! I use this brush for finishing powder to get the seamless make up. The design is also wonderfull!

This is probably my favorite brush from everything i have. I reach for it everyday. It applies anything from bronzer to powder foundation perfectly. This brush is as soft as pure squirrel. You can't really feel the goat hair in it but it does make this brush firmer and fluffier then pure squirrel - a perfect mix. It did shed a bit but nothing major. Washes and dries well even though it is quite dense. And of course i have to mention it looks super cool. The price is really reasonable for such a gem.

Soft, dense, and paired with a gorgeous handle. Like the previous reviewers have mentioned, this brush is very versatile. It can be used to apply blush, bronzer, compact/loose finishing powders, powder foundation, or simply to pet one's face. :) It's the best brush purchase I've made in a while.

For many years, I've been looking for the perfect brush for my Guerlain meteorites, and I couldn't be any happier to have come across the Fu-Pa14 to use with them! It's incredibly soft, picks up and deposits just the right amount of product, and it doesn't shed one bit. One of my favorite brushes from the Fu-Pa line!

This brush goes with me when I travel. I use it to set my foundation with powder, for bronzer and even for blush. It feels like it has way more squirrel than goat in the mix. It has shed very little, feels solid in my hand and has a lovely handle with very subtle sparkles. I love it so much that I got it in white as well. The price for value is amazing.

The fu-pa 14 gray squirrel powder brush is amazing. It's best use is for mineral powder foundation. The brush itself has a black handle with an iridescent green shimmer throughout topped with a dense, soft bundle of squirrel hair. I cannot explain how soft this is. Because of its density it holds a lot of product. I like this best with a powder foundation because I like the coverage I can get with it. I also like using it with translucent pressed powders. Buy it, you won't regret it.

I had a high expectation before receiving this brush due to all the raving reviews. Upon the first patting it onto my face, it didn't feel as soft as... my cat's furry belly. (I have an incredibly soft and affectionate cat, so my softness scale is based on him). The brush definitely gets softer after the first wash and conditioning. However, it's still not as soft and smooth as BP025. At that point, I figure out that for this type of squirrel hair, it feels softer with a sweeping motion from the side to the point of the hair rather than with a stippling motion using the point of the hair. One last concern is the shedding. My brush is insanely dense and it fluffs out after wash so shedding is not unexpected. However, I found it has been shedding a couple of hairs in =every single use=. I'm afraid to use mine too frequently and in need of a solution. All in all, a very good and solid brush for the price.

Cant stop patting it on my face...incredibly soft...it gives excellent coverage with compact or loose powder..its even softer after pre wash..go get them...

Another amazing brush from Koyudo. This once is definitely dense and well worth the price. It's incredibly soft. I use it with a finely milled finishing powder. I don't rely on this brush to buff in my makeup but it is so much fun to use.

I love this brush, it's very very soft and very dense, it's very easy to apply powder with, works well for blush, blends it nicely and quickly, this brush is also very beautifully made. Koyudo is becoming my favorite brush brand, their brushes are like younger and cooler sisters of my suqqu brushes, they are just so hip and fun. And very very nice quality.

this is another masterpiece from Fu-Pa series of Koyudo. The density is ideal, less than the Fu-pa 01 and 02 which I have, and denser than the than Bp 16. Silky soft with the balance of reasonable firmness and elasticity. Picks up great and offers a light to medium coverage. With the beautiful short handle it's easy to take in bag, and easy to control, for a near sighted person like me, not too long to hit the mirror! :)

Prior to owning this brush, I never really liked applying powder with a brush because I always felt like other brushes wiped away my foundation and concealer underneath. The density and softness of this brush allows me to use it in more of a dabbing or patting motion instead of swiping, so I can maintain my coverage. I love this brush and now feel like I can't live without it. The iridescent Ena handle also makes it a bit more unique. I highly recommend this brush.

The Fu-pa 14 is one of the greatest powder brushes available. It is densely packed but very soft to the touch. This brush is gentle on the skin when buffing in powers and does create a smooth flawless finish. I have said this before and will say it again, Koyudo makes some of the best quality brushes you could possibly imagine! A must have for sure!

A very soft and dense brush. I use it as a finishing brush or for powder. It is so soft you would think it is completely made of squirrel. Even though it is so soft it is still very efficient. I like this brush so much I bought it in both colors. The quality is superb and I think it is a must have for any brush lover.

This brush is one of the softest that I have. It rivals those from other brands that cost twice or thrice as much. It applies loose powder beautifully. It's also great for setting and finishing powders. The size is just right as well, and the handle gives it just enough heft. If you use powder a lot, you should get more than one of this amazing brush. It's great value for its price. I got this as part of a recent CDJapan promo wherein it comes in gift set with lip brush and gift box. I love this brush and cannot recommend enough.

A friend recommended this brush to me for powder foundations. I was a little hesitant because often times I use a sponge or powder puff but I heard so many great things - I was willing to give this a shot. Once I received it I loved it IMMEDIATELY! It's super luxe. The handle is gorgeous and weighty and the bristles - the bristles are so amazingly soft. One of the softest in my collection. I don't use it to apply foundation though. Instead, I use this brush to buff in my loose setting powders and the finish is perfection! I now own two! And I would love to own more! I recommend this to anyone who uses powders in their routine - you will not be disappointed.

I've had this little fu-pa for a few months now, and I am so extremely impressed by the quality, performance AND price. I use it to apply loose or pressed powder on the areas of my face that tend to get shiny (T-zone and cheeks mostly). It is very dense, but incredibly soft at the same time; it can really pack the powder on BUT it never ever leaves a cakey or chalky finish, just smooth and velvety and flawless. It really is delightful to use. The pretty handle is the cherry on top. You can't see it very well from the pictures but it has a subtle green shimmer running through it. Something that has surprised me from this brush is that it really has not shed. Big handmade face brushes usually come with a few loose hairs and it is normal for them to shed a few during the first uses, so given how dense this is I was expecting it to shed quite a bit. It shed one single hair the first time I ever used it, and that was it. I am even more impressed!
