Aluminum is used for thr ferrule. MB series was awarded GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2011.The black matte wooden handle is easy to handle as it has no slippery coating on it. The handle is made of wood, but it can hardly be scratched.

The hair

Material

It uses the high-quality goat hair "Sokoho 粗光峰".  (Other popular Sokoho brushes - BP024 Highlighter Brushfu-pa01 Blush Brush)

Color

The light-brown hair is mixed with black hair although it looks only black on the picture.

Shape

It has an round angled top. The angle is not so much steep, so gives a natural finishing for daily basis makeup look. It applies a perfect amount of powder, but gives a sheer coverage as the hair is soft. The angled tip fits perfectly to uneven areas such as around the nostrils, face line. It's a little similar to the tip of CB100 Powder Angled Brush

Density

It has large, dense bristles. The size of the tip is similar to BP001 Large Angled Contour Brush, but the the thickness of MB100 is twice larger than BP001.You might think that the dense hair gives your skin a heavy makeup look. But, as for this brush, it gives a natural finish as the hair provides proper softness.

Softness (degree 1-10)

7. Sokoho is soft hair after the Red Squirrel, Canadian Squirrel and Gray Squirrel. Gray squirrel is much more soft than goat sokoho hair, but sokoho hair is enough soft to work as a powder brush. Compared to gray squirrel, the goat sokoho brush is available at inexpensive price. Perfect for beginners of large fluffy brush and will be your favorite powder brush.

CB100 Powder Angled Brush may be compared with MB100.
