Perhaps one of the most prominent trademarks of the “Macross” franchise, is its ability to establish cross-dimensional interactions between in-anime characters and its real world audience. With characters like of Lynn Minmay, Ranka Lee and Sheryl Nome reaching real world idol status. It is no different this time around – Walkure – the first idol group to debut in the franchise have just released the series opening/ending theme songs, and is rapidly growing in popularity, in the real world!
