Legend has it that wolves are the only creatures on Earth who know where the Paradise is.

The planet enters the Ice Age, and people are living in domed cities encasing ruins.
They belive wolves had become extinct centuries ago, but that is far from the truth, since wolves learned to project themselves as humans in mind's eyes of people, and have in fact been living among humans for the last few centuries.Tsume is a proverbial lone wolf, with strong initiatives of his own. Kiba is also a loner who wanders into town in hopes of finding a way to the Paradise.

Wolf's Rain is from the main production crew responsible for Cowboy Bebop.
Director Tensai Okamura brings his originality to the project, and character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto adds a touch of class to the characters.
The soundtrack music is scored by acclaimed composer Yoko Kanno, also of Cowboy Bebop fame.
