- Divergence
EVE -- Story - --In the 24th century, interstellar travel has been made possible by the discovery of "Inflation Holes." Using the new Inflation Drive which allows spaceships to travel faster than the speed of light, the human race has encountered new civilizations, along with new enemies. Watcher's Nest is a relay station in deep space for Inflation Drive, which also serves as the center for the colonization/terraforming project of the planets nearby. The project has been hindered by the invasion of Ghouls, alien creatures from a parallel universe. On the way to Watcher's Nest, Kureha Misaki - an 18-year-old recruit of "Seraphim," a Special Ops outfit - learns of the invasion, along with her mates Susanna, Luxandra and Kiri. For her first mission, she ends up boarding a reinforced mobile armour called a Lambert Armour in defense of the station. Meanwhile, a public conglomerate gets its hands on some vital information from Ghouls themselves, and starts using it for its own end. The plot gets thicker when their conspiracy is carried out by an organization implanted well within the Watcher's Nest itself. DVD Limited Edition Vol.1 Comes with a box to house all 6 volumes and bonus cards from all 6 volumes. Other extras include a T-shirt. There will be 28 bonus cards in all for all 6 volumes. - Production Crew - Characters were designed by Toshinari Yamashita of "Nanako Kaitai Shinsho (Amazing Nurse Nanako)." Scripts by Nozaki Toru of "Gasaraki." Creature designer Takayuki Takeya had previously worked on "Zeiram," among other shows. The outro theme song, "Pump Up" is performed by Nao Nagasawa, the star of the popular "Hurricanger" series. |
