Description

[Machine Translation] The writer Masayuki Imai presents the profound theme of "life and death," including the energy of life and reincarnation, through the main character, Masato, who is trying his best to live in the present with the abilities he has been given. Masayuki Imai, who passed away suddenly in 2015, wrote the original story, script, and starred in the stage play "Let's Go Home Hand in Hand - Beyond Shangri-La. Directed by Yoko Narahashi, who continues Masayuki Imai's legacy, the film is a moving work with the profound theme of "life and death" as its motif, but with a universality that anyone can relate to. The cast is led by Jihide Kabira, who plays the lead role, and includes Nanami, Tomoko Fujita, Tetsuya Bessho, Masahiro Nakai (who makes a friendly appearance), and others who have been associated with Masayuki Imai. The cast also includes Sumire, LiLiCo, Itao Itsuji, and many others. --The main character is Masato (Kawahira Jihide), a mildly mentally handicapped man. He enters a "special" class in junior high school, and despite being ridiculed and bullied, he meets Sakiraku (Nanaumi), a woman with the same disability, and they eventually get married while exchanging awkward expressions of affection. However, in order to protect Sakiraku, Masato commits a crime. As if to remind himself of his promised honeymoon with Sakiraku, Masato drives alone to Ise Shrine. There, a hitchhiker named Reiko (Sumire) gets in the car. In the car, she asks Masato, "What is God? What is history? What is man? What is history? Then, she asks Sakiraku's riddle, "What is something between H and money? The answer to Sakiraku's riddle, "What is between H and money? Reiko leaves behind a box in her car, which contains something unexpected.
