Description

[Machine Translation] The director's cut version of "The Red-Nosed Teacher," a drama set in a hospital school that is gentle on the body and mind, is now available in a director's cut version that includes previously unaired scenes! A clumsy new teacher starts working at a hospital school for children who have been hospitalized for a long time, and tries to bring out their "zest for life" through the power of laughter in this heartwarming drama. The main character, Santaro Ishihara, is played by Yo Oizumi, who is active in a wide range of fields including movies, TV dramas, and variety shows. Satomi Kobayashi (Kamome Shokudo, Megane) plays the role of Kinu Oikawa, the head of the in-hospital class who clashes with Ishihara repeatedly. Ryunosuke Kamiki and Kenta Suga also play students in the in-hospital class. The bonus disc will include a making-of featurette, interviews with the cast, and a pre-production program. ( story ) Santaro Ishihara ( Yo Oizumi ), who has just been fired from his job as a sales clerk at an electronics retail store, is a self-proclaimed talker and funny guy. He has a teaching license, and by chance, he is assigned to teach three junior high school students in a hospital class. Santaro believes that the most important thing is to make the students laugh. He tries his best, but because he has no sense of humor, everything he does backfires. His "passion" leads him to repeatedly clash with a female teacher, Kinu Okawa (Satomi Kobayashi), who is in charge of the in-hospital class. Will Santaro be able to draw out the "zest for life" from the students, whose feelings tend to darken due to their long-term hospitalization, and become a popular figure in the hospital?

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
