[Machine Translation] The film "MANRIKI," created by the filmmaking unit "Team Manriki," consisting of actor Takumi Saito, comedian Nagano, and musician and actor Nobuaki Kaneko, is finally available on DVD! The film is based on Nagano's original idea, "inspired by the discomfort I felt when I appeared as a guest at a fashion event," and is filled with the creative essence of producer Takumi Saito and director Yasuhiko Shimizu. This film is an ambitious work that incorporates various keywords that are not bound by any genre, including suspense, horror, and comedy. The film has been the talk of the town at the 23rd Puchon International Fantastic Fantastic Film Festival and other film festivals around the world, and had its world premiere in Puchon in June 2019, where Takumi Saito, Nagano, SWAY, and Yasuhiko Shimizu made stage greetings. In addition to the making-of featurette, four short films produced by Team Manryoku are included. The film is designed to allow viewers to fully enjoy the creative worldview of the film. --The film is a good example of how a model with plastic surgery has more work than a model without. A fledgling fashion model decides to correct her small face in order to get work. She asks a beautiful plastic surgeon who runs a beauty clinic to perform a small face correction treatment, and the model undergoes a transformation. The model is transformed by the face-stylist's bizarre philosophy and vise.... After eating zaru soba (buckwheat noodles), the face-shaping artist leaves the clinic and heads for a new place of ambition. A hootenanny and an old man who play beauty pageants in a backstreet. The sudden encounter between them and the face-lifter accelerates the story. Light and darkness. Subjectivity and objectivity. Hypocrisy and necessary evil. Beauty and ugliness. We are exposed between the vise.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
