Description

[Machine Translation] Chisato Chisato, "The King of Hougo Enka", has released a long-awaited remake of a new song! Yaima (Yaeyama) New Version" was released in November 1999, after Chisao fell in love with the work of Miyagi Mamoru, a native of Ishigaki Island, who sang it with a sense of nostalgia while thinking of the scenery of his distant hometown, Okinawa. It became a topic of conversation because it was the first time that Chisao, who often sings about his "hometown in the north," tackled a work on the theme of his "hometown in the south. The song still has a dedicated following due to its originality and content, which is rare among Masao Sendo's songs. Yaima" has become a popular song in Okinawa. This time, after 22 years, the song has been remade and released again as a new song to spread it throughout the country. Coupling 1, "Uguisu Houri (tentative)," is a song about a parent's love for his/her precious daughter. It is a heartwarming song with a major key melody familiar to Masao Chisato. Coupling 2, "Ippon no Matsu" is a song about "Ippon no Matsu," the only pine tree that miraculously survived the tsunami in the pine grove in Chisato's hometown of Rikuzentakata, which is still seared in people's memories from the Great East Japan Earthquake. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the song is included as a coupling song.
