Description

BEGIN brings an album, featuring "Bon Odori." Includes "Tokyo Ondo," "Tankobushi," "Omatsuri Mambo," "Suki ni Natta Hito," "Nada Sou Sou," and arranged versions of "Shimanchu nu Takara" and "Egao no Manma" arranged by Keiichi Suzuki (MOONRIDERS). It also includes a new song, "Shibuya Hyakunen So Odori." The limited edition comes with a DVD with "BEGIN Otenki Matsuri Tour 2024" held on June 22nd at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA.

久々のBEGIN新作は、なんと"盆踊り"アルバム! 以前から「お祭りで老若男女に楽しんでいただけるようなバンドになりたい」と公言していた通り、盆踊りでみんなが楽しめるような楽曲と、ブラジルへ足を運んで以来、ライフワークとして取り組んでいるマルシャと融合させた新語"盆マルシャ" をテーマにして制作。盆踊りの大定番曲「東京音頭」や「炭坑節」そして日本の大名曲「お祭りマンボ」「好きになった人」「涙そうそう」などをマルシャのリズムでメドレーにし、尚且つ盆踊りとして楽しく踊れるように仕上げたり、代表曲「島人ぬ宝」「笑顔のまんま」の2曲を、鈴木慶一氏 (MOONRIDERS)による盆踊りアレンジで大胆に生まれ変わらせたり、唯一の新曲となる「渋谷百年総踊り」は、完全にBEGINの考える盆踊りに振り切った、百年前からあったような、とても新曲とは思えない、"渋谷発" の盆踊りスタンダード風に仕上がっていたりと、とにかく楽しいお祭り感満載の"踊れる"アルバム! 初回限定盤は、「BEGIN お天気祭りツアー2024」2024.6.22 LINE CUBE SHIBUYA を収録したDVD付き。

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
