Description

Japanese remake of the Korean film "Hard Days (Saigo Made Iku)," which was the No.1 movie for 5 consecutive weeks with 3.45 million viewers in Korea and was produced remakes around the world, comes out on DVD. Starring Junichi Okada. Directed by Michihito Fujii. Deluxe edition comes with a bonus DVD featuring making-of and event footage collection. Also includes a photo book and features outer case packaging. Plot: On the night of December 29th, the year is drawing to a close. Kudo, a detective, drives in the rain to visit his mother who is in critical condition. Then Kudo receives a call on his cell phone from the chief of police. Awajima's inquisitive question, "There was an accusation in a weekly magazine that a slush fund is being created in our department." Awajima's inquisitiveness makes Kudo's blood boil, and although he manages to get through it, his heart is filled with impatience. He is also at a loss for words when he receives a call from his wife informing him that his mother has just passed away, but at that moment, the car he is driving hits a man. When he found out that the man had died, he put his body in the trunk of the car and left, dismayed. When Kudo arrives at his mother's funeral home, he puts the body of the man he hit in her coffin and attempts to burn it at the funeral home with her. At that moment, Kudo receives a message on his phone. It says "You killed a man. I know it." The sender of the message is Yazaki, an inspector at the prefectural police headquarters. He, too, is upset when a man goes missing and now is dead. What's more, there is a secret hidden behind the man's disappearance that Yazaki must never let people know about...

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
