Description

[Machine Translation] In a city with no sea and no hope, four bad kids pursue a dream they once had. This is the first original work in 5 years by Kotaro Yoshitani, the creator of many musicals and stage productions! Keisuke Ueda, Shohei Hashimoto, Takeshi Yamada, Keito Sakurai, and Shintaro Anzai play young men who have survived in a fortress city, and now they are heading back to their dreams. --The city of "Kamiya" is surrounded by a huge fortress. It was once a city-state given to a pirate hero who came here on a foreign ship. However, after the defeat in the War of Independence against the Empire, the citizens were treated as war criminals, and the fortified city became a prison with high walls. Seiki ( Suzuki ), a boy living in the favela, has been living by stealing every day. One day, he finds a blueprint of the citadel in a bag he stole from a man passing by. With the help of these plans, Suzuki, Araki, his older brother, and his best friend Ito attempt to escape from the city, but the boys' dreams are shattered and they end up living apart. Time passes, and Seiki lives as a bandit. One night, Seiki confronts his former comrade, Itoru, who has become a detective. Later, he meets a detective named Miura, who tells him that Genta (Kuroda), who was captured by the Imperial Army as a spy for the Revolutionary Army, holds the key to their resurrection. As the battle between the Imperial Army and the Revolutionary Army is about to begin, they gather again in the city surrounded by fortifications and begin to face their boyhood dreams. 海も希望もない都市で、四人の悪ガキはかつて見た夢を目指す。ミュージカル・舞台など数多くの作品を生み出した吉谷光太郎5年ぶりのオリジナル作品! 植田圭輔、橋本祥平、山田ジェームス武、櫻井圭登、安西慎太郎演じる城塞都市で生き抜いてきた青年たちが再び夢に向かう。――巨大な「城塞」に囲まれた都市『霞宮(カミヤ)』。そこはかつて外国船でやってきた海賊の英雄に与えられた都市国家。しかし帝国への独立戦争の敗北によって、その後市民たちは戦犯扱いとなり、城塞都市はさながら高い壁の監獄と化した。貧民街に暮らす少年、聖木(スズキ)は、日々盗みをしながら生きてきた。ある時、通りがかった男から盗んだバッグの中に、城塞の設計図を見つける。それを頼りに、聖木は兄と慕う阿羅来(アラキ)、親友の伊透(イトウ)らと共に都市からの脱出を試みるが、少年たちの夢はもろくも崩れ去り、その後バラバラに生きていくことになる。時は過ぎ、聖木は盗賊として生きていた。ある晩、聖木は刑事となったかつての仲間、伊透と対峙する。その後出会った探偵の壬浦(ミウラ)は、革命軍のスパイとして、帝國軍に捕らえられた玄汰(クロダ)が、自分たちの復活の鍵を持っていると告げる。帝国軍と革命軍の戦いが始まろうとする中、城塞に囲まれたその都市で、彼らは再び集まり少年時代の夢に向かい始める。特典映像ディスク付き。リーフレット封入。

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
