[Machine Translation] There was someone who was looking at the same scenery. A film adaptation of the 8th WOWOW Scenario Grand Prize. Starring Hayato Ichihara. In Terrace House "Futabaso", what should be invisible is visible - a gem of a romantic mystery that connects two eras. --March 2000. Shoji Kawamura (Hayato Ichihara), a stage director, and his magazine editor wife, Mie (Asami Usuda), move into Futabaso, a terrace house on a hill overlooking Yokohama Port. Although they are concerned about the high-handed attitude of the house's landlord, Kokichi Terada (Takeo Nakahara), and his wife, Naoko (Kazuko Yoshiyuki), Shoji and Mie get along well with the housewife, Saki Yai (Hana Yougetsu), who lives in the next room, and both get used to their new life. Shoji resigned from his job as a stage director, and with Mie's help, he decided to start a writing business at home. One morning, after dropping Mie off, Shoji senses a disturbing presence in the house. He sees a shadow in the house that should be empty... It was the "phantom" of a painter named Seiji Kurata (Rinya Nakamura), who lived in the same room of Futabaso 26 years ago. Kurata reacts to Shoji's surprise. The two, who are in similar circumstances, gradually become friends, but one day, Shoji sees an unbelievable scene in the vision.

同じ景色を眺めていた、誰かがいた。第8回WOWOWシナリオ大賞を映像化。市原隼人主演。テラスハウス「双葉荘」では、見えないはずのものが見える― 2つの時代をつなぐ珠玉のロマンティックミステリー。 ――2000年3月。舞台監督の川村正治(市原隼人)と雑誌編集者の妻・美江(臼田あさ美)は、横浜港を望む高台のテラスハウス・双葉荘に移り住む。この家の大家・寺田幸吉(中原丈雄)とその妻・直子(吉行和子)の高飛車な態度は気になったものの、隣の部屋に住む主婦・八井沙季(陽月華)との相性は良く、正治も美江も新生活になじんでいった。そんな中、正治は舞台監督の仕事を退職し、美江の計らいで自宅でのライター業を始めることに。ある朝、美江を送り出した正治は、家の中に不穏な気配を感じる。誰もいないはずの家に人影が・・・。それは26年前に双葉荘の同じ部屋に住んでいた倉田誠司(中村倫也)という画家の"幻影"だった。驚く正治に反応する倉田。似たような境遇の2人は次第に交友を結ぶようになるが、ある日、正治は幻影の中で信じがたい光景を見てしまう。

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
