A realistic and tumultuous success story! Co-starring Kuroki Hitomi, a former member of the Takarazuka Revue, and Ishimaru Kanji, former top star of the Shiki Theater Company. --A university professor, Teruko Misaki (Hitomi Kuroki), suddenly receives a call from a TV station executive, Shun Yagisawa (Kanji Ishimaru). Yagisawa has been asked by Taizo Yamashiro (Kazuyuki Furuya), the president of the Meisei Party, which is seeking to regain power in the next general election, to bring Teruko to him. Yamashiro is trying to recruit Teruko as a civilian cabinet minister. After meeting with Teruko, Yamashiro asked her to chair a study group of the party. Teruko, who had shunned politics because of a feud with her father born when she was a student, hesitated and was unable to respond. However, a few days later, an article appears in the newspaper announcing her appointment as chairperson. This was a ploy by Yamashiro to draw Teruko in. Unable to back down, Teruko decides to enter politics with the support of her husband, Nobuaki (Takashi Kobayashi), despite her family's reservations. However, soon after she becomes a minister, she faces a crisis of unprecedented scale. Will Teruko survive in politics? And what is Yamashiro's plan?

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
