Description

[Machine Translation] Paris under Nazi occupation. The Jewish director of the music hall "Arcancier de Paris" defected just before the German invasion, and Catherine, a leading singer, was left in charge of the production, while Marcel Dolan, a talented dancer, took charge of the choreography. Marcel has no experience in choreography and disagrees with Catherine, making rehearsals difficult. Then, Konrad, the German military's cultural control officer, appears with his deputy, Friedrich, and his men in tow. The members of the troupe are perplexed by Conradt's high-handed attitude, banning jazz and forcing them to perform the Vienna Waltz. However, after Konrad leaves, Friedrich proposes to secretly perform jazz music, which the battle-weary German soldiers are looking for. Friedrich, who had been unable to speak openly about his true feelings because of his position as a German officer, truly loved music and theater, and believed that entertainment had the power to unite the world beyond national borders. Marcel took Friedrich's advice and began choreographing two versions of the piece, a Vienna Waltz and a Jazz version. It was not an easy task, but Marcel proceeded with remarkable concentration. He was motivated by his desire to cheer up the people living in occupied Paris, a desire that was shared by Catherine. As they rehearse together, Marcel and Catherine gradually hit it off. ミュージカル『アルカンシェル』〜パリに架かる虹〜/ 宝塚歌劇団

ナチス・ドイツ占領下のパリ。ミュージック・ホール「アルカンシェル・ド・パリ」では、ドイツ軍の進駐を目前にユダヤ系の演出家が亡命し、残された看板歌手のカトリーヌが演出を任され、天才ダンサーのマルセル・ドーランが振付を担当することになった。マルセルは振付の経験が無い上に、カトリーヌとも意見が合わず、稽古は難航する。そこへドイツ軍文化統制官のコンラートが副官のフリードリッヒや部下達を引き連れて現れる。高圧的な態度でジャズの禁止と、ウィンナ・ワルツの上演を強制され、戸惑う劇団員達。しかしコンラートが去った後、フリードリッヒは、戦い疲れたドイツ兵が求めているジャズを秘かに上演することを提案する。フリードリッヒは、ドイツ人将校という立場ゆえに本心を公言できずにいたが、真に音楽や演劇を愛し、エンターテインメントには国境を越えて世界を一つにする力があると信じていた。マルセルは、フリードリッヒの助言どおり、ウィンナ・ワルツとジャズ、二つのバージョンの振付に取り掛かる。それは容易なことではなかったが、マルセルは驚異的な集中力で創作を進めていく。彼の原動力となったのは、占領下のパリに生きる人々を元気づけたいという想い――その想いはカトリーヌも同じだった。同じ志を持って稽古に取り組むうちに、マルセルとカトリースは次第に意気投合していく。[主な出演者 (公演プログラム記載順)] 柚香光・星風まどか・永久輝せあ・聖乃あすか・美風舞良・紫門ゆりや・(専科) 一樹千尋・輝月ゆうま ※音楽の割愛等はございません。
