Description

Koki Mitani's comedy film "Suteki na Kanashibari (Once in a Blue Moon / A Ghost of a Chance)" is out on Blu-ray. Features impressive casts, Eri Fukatsu, Toshiyuki Nishida, Hiroshi Abe, Yuko Takeuchi, Tadanobu Asano, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi (SMAP), and Kiichi Nakai. Plot: A desperate lawyer Emi Hosho is assigned to a murder case. Her client is accused of murdering but claims to have an airtight alibi. It is that he was staying at an inn while suffering from kanashibari (old hag syndrome). The only witness of his alibi is a ghost of the Sengoku period military commander Rokubei who sat on the client's chest all night long. Emi decides to call Rokubei in evidence, however. . .
