[Machine Translation] Les Vents Francais, formed by Paul Mayet on clarinet, Francois Leroux on oboe, and Eric Le Sage on piano, has been visiting Japan every year since its first performance in 2002, and has won many fans with its repertoire of chamber music by French composers. Influenced by Schumann and Brahms, Reinecke ( 1824-1910 ) was known as a prolific composer, and among his chamber music works, the wind trio is considered a standard repertoire among wind players. In particular, ( 2 ) and ( 3 ) are austere masterpieces reminiscent of Brahms' chamber music with clarinet in his later years. There are few recordings by major artists, and in this sense, this album by the most current wind players is sure to attract a great deal of attention. Recorded September 22-29, 2006 at the Studio of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, Zurich.

クラリネットのポール・メイエ、オーボエのフランソワ・ルルー、ピアノのエリック・ル・サージュらによって結成された「レ・ヴァン・フランセ」(フランスの風=管楽器、の意味)は、2002年の初来日での衝撃的な演奏以来、毎年のように日本を訪れ、フランスの作曲家による室内楽を中心としたレパートリーで数多くのファンを獲得している。当アルバムは、11月28日〜12月8日に予定される彼らの再来日公演に合わせて発売する、「レ・ヴァン・フランセ」主要メンバーによる待望の新録音。メンデルスゾーン、シューマンやブラームスの同時代人で、ドイツ・ロマン派の作曲家カール・ライネッケの管楽三重奏曲を3曲収めたもの。シューマンやブラームスの影響を受け、多作家として知られるライネッケ(1824-1910)の室内楽作品の中でも、管楽三重奏曲は管楽器奏者の中では定番レパートリーとされている。特に(2)(3)はブラームス晩年のクラリネットを起用した室内楽を思わせる渋い名作。メジャー・アーティストによる録音は少なく、その意味でも今最も旬な管楽奏者たちによる当アルバムは大きな注目を集めること必至。 録音: 2006年9月22日〜29日 チューリヒ スイス放送局スタジオ 来日記念盤

HD DVD

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
