Description

Yoji Yamada brings a live-action film based on the novel "Kinema no Kamisama" by Maha Harada. Starring Kenji Sawada and Masaki Suda. Plot: Gou with an unparalleled love of gambling is a useless father who has been abandoned by his wife and daughter. There is only one thing he loves more than anything else in the world. That is movie. Terashin, the owner of his favorite movie theater, and Gou used to work together at a movie studio. As an assistant director, young Gou pursues his dream, surrounded by famous directors of the era, star actresses, and the people around him, including Terashin, a projectionist. However, on the first day of shooting his first film, Gou is seriously injured in a fall and the film becomes a mirage. Half a century later, in the year 2020. Gou's dream that had been stopped in his mind starts to move again when the script of "God of Kinema" from that day comes out...

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
