*Non Japan-made disc. [Machine Translation] John Barry's masterpieces will be released as a collection of his works under the direction of Hernando Velazquez, who is also active in Hollywood movies, faithfully reproducing the original scores and rare recordings of his works! John Barry, who turned 90 in November 2023, was a master filmmaker and five-time Academy Award winner, and among his films there are a number of soundtracks that are considered masterpieces, although they were either never released in Japan or were released much later. The title soundtrack, "A Rainy Afternoon," is reproduced in its entire score, orchestrated for a small ensemble featuring lively percussion and woodwinds, and features a mysterious, suggestive, and disturbing score that culminates in a long rescue sequence. It culminates in a long rescue sequence. Also on disc 1 is the previously unreleased A Doll's House. Disc 2 contains music from previously unreleased films and television series, including the striking main theme and love theme, both beautifully orchestrated. Featuring strings, woodwinds, piano, and harpsichord, the two scores combine stylistically similar works into one masterpiece album of rare and fan-favorite re-recordings. Imported domestic edition.

ジョン・バリーの名作の数々がハリウッド映画でも活躍するヘルナンド・ヴェラスケスの指揮により、当時のスコアおよびレア音源と言われる作品を忠実に再現して一つの作品集として発売が決定! 2023年11月に90歳となった名匠、ジョン・バリー。5度のアカデミー賞受賞という輝かしい経歴を持つ彼の作品の中には、惜しくも日本では未公開、もしくは大幅に遅れて公開されながらも、名作と言われる数々のサントラが存在する。表題サントラの「雨の午後〜」は全スコアが再現され、生き生きとしたパーカッションと木管楽器をフィーチャーした小編成のアンサンブルのためにオーケストレーションされたこの曲は、ミステリアスで示唆に富み、不穏な雰囲気が漂うスコアで、長い救出劇のシークエンスで頂点に達する。同じディスク1には未公開の「A Doll's House」を収録。ディスク2には未公開作品やテレビシリーズの音楽が収録され、印象的なメインテーマと愛のテーマがあり、見事なオーケストレーションが施されている。弦楽器、木管楽器、ピアノ、チェンバロをフィーチャーしたこの2つの楽譜は、様式的に似た作品を一枚にまとめ、ファン垂涎のレア音源の再録音傑作アルバムとなって甦ることとなった。輸入盤国内仕様。
