The result is a bold and rich background music that is not bound by country or time period, ranging from traditional gagaku instruments to string music, post-rock, and electronic music. The original soundtrack includes not only the accompaniment to the play, but also an instrumental version of the main character Biwa's impressive biwa narration. The soundtrack is a must-listen for those who want to experience every corner of the completely new musical world in which the sensational sounds of the biwa have been constructed with modern acoustics.
