Description

[Machine Translation] If you two can get over it, you will! Set in Paris in the summer sun, this moving film full of hope depicts a new step forward for a young man and a girl whose loved ones were suddenly and absurdly taken away from them. Directed by Mikael Aas, this is his first film to be released theatrically in Japan. The sensitive and kind eyes on the screen have captured the hearts of many people and have not let go. The lead role is played by Vincent Lacoste, one of the most sought-after young actors of the moment. He gives a fresh performance as a tender-hearted young man who is confused but tries to face Amanda. His niece Amanda is played by the miraculous rising star Izard Murtriere. The director, who sought a natural performance, found her, and she exudes a presence that is hard to believe that this is her first performance. She is also supported by popular actress Stacy Martin and the talented Greta Scacchi. --Paris is in the summer sun. David, a young man working as a handyman, meets and falls in love with Lena, a beautiful woman who comes to Paris. They lead a peaceful and happy life, until tragedy strikes and his beloved sister dies, leaving David in a state of grief. He takes over the care of his niece Amanda, who is left alone and without any relatives... He tries to treat her as a surrogate parent, but the burden is too much for the still young David, and he cannot hide his confusion. Amanda, too, has a hard time accepting the loss of her mother. They are clumsy with each other, and it is frustrating to watch, yet endearing. Although the sadness does not go away, David gradually regains himself by spending time with Amanda, who tries desperately to live a strong life.

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
