[Machine Translation] In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Ishihara Promotions, five never-before-released theatrical films are now available on DVD at the same time! Yujiro Ishihara poured his boundless passion, spent enormous time and effort, and risked his life to create these films, and now they are finally available on DVD! For the sake of his children, a soldier decides to walk 1,300 kilometers. But the soldier has a dark past on the battlefield... What is humanism? This is a moving drama of human love that transcends national borders and approaches the essence of war and human nature. An American captain who has seen hell on the battlefield makes a reckless bet to walk 1,300 kilometers in two weeks from Tokyo to Kyushu for the construction of an orphanage. When a military reporter played by Yujiro learns of this, he is outraged because he witnessed the captain ruthlessly kill a child in the battlefield... A moving story about human dignity and love that transcends national borders. This much-talked-about film features a star-studded cast including Frank Sinatra Jr. --A freelance news photographer, Hiroshi Kitabayashi (Yujiro Ishihara), sees an advertisement in "The Star-Spangled Banner" and becomes furious. The ad reads, "Place a bet that Captain Allen, an American soldier, can walk the 1,300 kilometers from Zama to Beppu in two weeks. If he succeeds, the money will be donated to an orphanage in Beppu. Beilin, however, had witnessed Allen accidentally shoot and kill a civilian couple during the Korean War and tried to dissuade him from walking, saying that a person who created orphans had no right to donate money to an orphanage. Allen won the bet and the renovation of the orphanage began. The director of the orphanage, Ms. Yamada (Michiyo Niinju), tells Allen that she was inspired by a child who told her, "I want a reinforced concrete house that doesn't leak rain. Allen is unable to raise the funds and walks again the following year. With the cooperation of the newspaper company, the construction was completed. Kitabayashi reported to Allen, whom he met again on the front lines in Vietnam. A few days later, Allen is killed in an enemy attack while driving a jeep.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
