The film was edited by Chris King ("AMY: Amy") and features music by Gustavo Santaolaya ("Brokeback Mountain"). -- Eric Clapton, the "God of the Guitar," put musicality before money or fame, devoted himself to the blues, and lived up to his reputation as a genius. In his personal life, however, he has always wandered around in search of "something," unable to distinguish between desire and love, pleasure and happiness. He was addicted to everything: alcohol, drugs, women, and music. He has lost his friends who competed with him on the guitar. He has fallen in love with his best friend George Harrison's wife, and has been involved with women to the point of morbidity. Eric Clapton himself tells the story of his music, love, and soul, which can only be recounted now that he has found his place in the world for the first time after a life filled with harsh and bizarre events that took him back and forth between heaven and hell.
