This fresh and stylish album features two songs written by Maya herself, one of which is the Sonny Rollins classic "Doxy" and the other is the "Rhythm & Blues" by Randy Harris. The first is "Doxy," a Sonny Rollins classic, and the second is a song dedicated to the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Ue wo muite arukou," dedicated to the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake. The album also includes a bonus track, "Grow Your Beauty," a song featured in a Lux Jump's TV commercial, and the latest New York City recording of the song. The recording team includes Gerald Clayton, the young prince of jazz, and Ben Williams, the young bass prodigy who won the Thelonious Monk Competition in 2009. Jamaiah Williams, a drummer of note who was selected to join the Pat Metheny Trio along with Ben. Keyon Harold, who is highly acclaimed by Wynton Marsalis. The arrangements and music direction are by Warren Fields, a pianist, composer, and arranger who graduated from the New School with Jamaier Williams, Keyon Harold, and Maya Hatch, and has garnered attention for his beautiful melodies and mastery of chord work. The music is a collection of young talent that New York City is proud of. This is truly a remarkable collection of New York's finest young talents.
