Description

[Machine Translation] Academy Award Honorary Mention - Roger Corman Executive Producer - Mission #1 " Thwarting the Bombing Plot ! Mission #2 "Hostage Recovery Zamboanga, a city in western Mindanao, Philippines. After 40 years of violence and death, the Philippine government signed a peace agreement with the Islamic Liberation Front, but the most radical terrorist organization still persistently resists. One day, a mining company's truck was attacked by armed militants, who robbed the company of explosives it was transporting. A few days later, the first ASEAN Anti-Terrorism Conference was scheduled to be held in the capital, Manila. The U.S. military base unit led by Captain Randall (Mark Dacascos) is sent on an urgent mission to "capture the dangerous insurgents alive and recover the explosives". The unit locates the enemy hideout and raids it, but in a fierce firefight with bullets flying wildly, some of the insurgents escape in a car, causing a tragedy involving civilians. The militants, in need of more money to build bombs, take the next step in retaliation. They kidnap Jenna (Sofia Pernas), the daughter of Captain Randall's lover and the head of security for the Anti-Terrorism Council, and demand a ransom of $5 million. Captain Randall risks his life in the rescue operation.

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
