Description

Smith plays the town's crime lord, David Carradine plays his transvestite "wife," and a strong cast includes Brad Dourif (Chucky in "Child's Play") and Sydney Lassick (Charlie in "The Cuckoo's Nest") as his henchmen. One day, a car with a baby in it is brought to him. Sulu tries to sell the baby, but his gay transvestite wife Pearl (David Carradine) is vehemently against it and dotes on the baby, whom she names Sonny, as if he were her own child. However, Pearl begins to educate Sonny to become a murderer. He cuts out Sonny's tongue, deprives him of speech, and trains him physically to the point of cruelty. Sonny eventually grows up to be an obedient and silent murderer, committing robberies and murders under Sulu's command. However, his inner self is beginning to emerge...
