In 2011, Reprint.com will publish a special edition of Masked Rider 1971 [Color Comics] in a limited first printing (B5 size, 2 volumes, in a box), using the original manuscript of the "fantastic" color version that was published only once in magazine format in 1971 (in 5 volumes of Kodansha Color Comics). Masked Rider 1971 [Color Complete Edition]" was published in a luxury edition using the original "phantom" color version of the original manuscript, which was published only once in magazine form in 1971 (in five volumes of Kodansha Color Comics), and received a very favorable reception. Now, as a special project to mark the 55th anniversary of the birth of Masked Rider 1971 in 2026, we have reorganized the book to incorporate new special elements while taking advantage of the features of "Masked Rider 1971 [Color Complete Edition]" such as full color and high quality images created by digital re-mastering. The new "MASKED RIDER (2 volumes) will be published in an easy-to-read A5 size, softcover format, with various upgrades. The "Masked Rider 1971 [Color Complete Edition] Box" will include the color comics, Sun Comics cover illustrations, and preview cuts from the magazine serialization (not included in the main story) that were included in the "Masked Rider Illustrated" enclosed in the boxed set. (The pages that were reversed in the book version will be reverted to the way they were when they were first published. The MASKED RIDER is Ishinomori's masterpiece with its brilliant action direction, and it broke new ground in the visual expression of comic books. This book is a rare opportunity to experience the "shock and excitement of encountering Rider for the first time" through the beauty of the vivid colors and the precise and dynamic pen strokes. This project is a re-sizing and re-publication of "MASKED RIDER 1971 [Color Complete Edition]" (B5 size), which was published by our company in 2011 (and 2013) to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the "MASKED RIDER" series in 2026.
