Description

[Machine Translation] Masami Iwato, a member of the Ministry of Monsters' Forecast Team, is an ace in the hole, but even with her help, there are times when inexplicable incidents occur. 怪獣省の予報班の岩戸正美は、エースとして活躍していたが、彼女をもってしても不可解な事件が発生することがある。そんな時に決まって姿を現す警察庁特別捜査室の船村秀治。船村に彼女は振り回されているが、彼の悪い予感はよく当たる。船村に頼まれ、岩戸が搭乗した飛行機の中で、飛行中に殺人事件が発生してしまう。閉鎖された空間での混乱の中、危惧していた飛行怪獣が姿を現してしまう。別日にはロシアに現れた二種の怪獣が日本の方向に南下。うち一種が武器庫を襲い、核をのみ込んだという。その怪獣を特定するため、岩戸は船村と北海道に渡る。また、七年前に山中の集落で放火殺人事件があった。犯人は捕らえられ、死刑が確定していたが、同時期に事件現場の北で小型怪獣が現れていたため、この事件も怪獣が引き起こしたもので冤罪が疑われた。執行まで限られた時間の中で、岩戸と船村は事件の解決に奔走する。

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
