Description

Hajime Tachibana's first all-time best album, including newly produced remixes! The overall supervision is handled by Kan Takagi, who has had a long-standing relationship with Tachibana. The song selection was decided through discussions between Kan Takagi, Keigo Oyamada (Cornelius), and Hajime Tachibana, choosing tracks from the 1980s to the 21st century. Additionally, for this project, a remix version of "MA TICARICA" from the YEN era, created by Keigo Oyamada and Kan Takagi, is included. The mastering is done by Yoshinori Sunahara. The artwork design is by Hajime Tachibana himself. The limited edition is a special 17cm single-sized paper jacket. The bonus track exclusive to the limited edition, "Eternal Idol (Cover)," was chosen after Kan Takagi happened to come across a performance by a Brazilian amateur musician on YouTube, which he liked and decided to include in this release.

立花ハジメ、新制作リミックス曲も含む初のオールタイム・ベスト盤! 1979年、"テクノポップ御三家"の1つと謳われたバンド、プラスチックスのギタリストとして英国先行デビュー。解散後はギターをサックスに持ち替え1982年アルファ/YENレーベルよりアルバム『H』でソロ・デビュー。以来40年以上、音楽のみならずグラフィックアートの分野でも活躍を続ける立花ハジメ。彼のソロ・デビュー以来の軌跡を総括する、初のオールタイム・ベスト・アルバムを発売。総合監修を務めるのは、かねてより立花との関わりも深い高木完。選曲は80年代から21世紀に至る楽曲の中から、高木完、小山田圭吾 (コーネリアス)、立花ハジメの合議で決定。さらに今回の企画のために、YEN時代の楽曲「MA TICARICA」の小山田圭吾と高木完によるリミックス・ヴァージョンを収録。マスタリングは砂原良徳が手がける。アートワークデザインは立花ハジメ自ら担当。完全生産限定盤は、17cmシングルサイズの特殊仕様紙ジャケットを採用。限定盤のみのボーナストラック「永遠のアイドル (Cover)」は、YouTubeに上がっていたブラジルのアマチュアミュージシャンの演奏を偶然目にした高木完が気に入って今回収録となったもの。

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
