Description

[Machine Translation] Elephant Kashimashi, Japan's greatest rock band, celebrates its 30th anniversary. Their shocking live performance at Shibuya Public Hall on September 10, 1988 has been revived for the first time in 28 years. The late Isaku Sakanishi, who at the time was a leading music and video production artist, prepared an astonishing stage. The stage was bare and inorganic. The band begins to play, but the music proceeds while the audience's lights are still on. The performance was powerful and combative, which turned into tremendous pressure. Vocalist Koji Miyamoto's emotions are exposed at various points. An unusual atmosphere takes over the venue. A total of 14 raging songs that tell the history of Elephant Kashimashi's battles. The images and sounds have been restored and remastered, and under the direction of Masashi Osawa, who sharpened his talent under the late director Isaku Sakanishi and inherited his sensibility, the film will be completely revived after 28 years.

デビュー30周年を迎えた日本最高のロックバンド"エレファントカシマシ"。彼らの1988年9月10日渋谷公会堂での衝撃のライヴが28年ぶりに蘇る。当時音楽映像制作の第一人者として才能を発揮していた故・坂西伊作氏が用意したのは驚愕のステージ。剥き出しになった無機質な舞台。バンドの演奏が始まるが、客席の照明がついたままで曲が進む。演奏は力強く闘争的で、それが凄まじい圧力に変わる。随所でヴォーカル宮本浩次の感情が露になる。異常な空気感が会場を支配する。エレファントカシマシの戦いの歴史を物語る怒涛の全14曲。映像・音がレストア・リマスタリングされ、故・坂西伊作監督のもとで才能を研き彼の感性を受け継ぐ大沢昌史氏のディレクションにより、28年の時を経て完全に蘇ることになる。

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
