[Machine Translation] Haruki Kadokawa's Neo-Horror series, which was distributed on GyaO in July 2005 and released in theaters in 2006, and the scary book series, which was distributed in June 2006 and released in theaters in February 2007, have been combined into a 21-episode DVD! In 2006, the series won the 59th Japan Mystery Writers Association Award, and is based on the works of Yumei Hirayama ("Tokyo Densetsu: Horror Stories of a Cursed City" / "Do not get together" / "Scary Book Series: Haruki Horror Library"), a true horror writer with 120,000 copies sold and overwhelming support from horror fans, and is also produced by Akiko Hinagata, MEGUMI, and others. Akiko Hinagata, MEGUMI, and other well-known Sands Entertainment personalities, as well as Yukie Kawamura and other popular celebrities, are featured in the main cast of each work, which depict encounters with suspicious people and events that lurk in everyday life. Volume 1 includes "Yume no corridor" (starring Mariya Yamada), "Caretaker" (starring Junko Nakazawa) & "Avant title" (starring Hidekazu Nagai/Hisashige Ukita), "Careless man" (starring Emi Kobayashi), "Next time you kill" (starring Maho Tomita) and "Kim Taku" (starring Ayano Ohami).

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
